Fran Bodkin, M.A. CCC-SLP
Executive Director/Owner
Fran enjoys working with both children and adults. Her graduate degree in Speech- Language Pathology is from the University of Maine at Orono. Fran is a highly regarded Speech Language Pathologist providing therapy and consultative services in schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Fran has many professional talents and enjoys the assessment and treatment of pre-literacy skills and reading and written language skills for students of all ages. Fran lives with her husband and two children in Acton.

Yvonne Michaud, M.S. CCC-SLP
Yvonne received her graduate degree from Mass General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She has been working at the Center for Communication for more than 10 years. Yvonne enjoys working with both children and adults. Her areas of interest include cognitive rehabilitation with head-injured population, adults with deteriorating cognitive abilities, voice disorders, swallowing disorders, and reading assessment and intervention.

Valerie Poulin, M.S. CCC-SLP
Valerie completed her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology from Champlain College. She went on to pursue a graduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in Language Literacy Disorders at the University of New Hampshire. Valerie likes working with people of all ages. Her professional interests include pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, pediatric language and literacy assessment and intervention, and aphasia. In her spare time, Valerie enjoys yoga, tap dancing, and getting together with her family and friends.

Christine McAuley, M.S. CCC-SLP
Christine earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech and Language Disabilities at Elmira College in upstate New York. After completing this degree she returned to her hometown to complete her Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of New Hampshire. Her professional interests include pediatric speech-language disorders, as well as assessment and treatment of reading and written language skills. In her spare time, Christine enjoys reading, crafting, playing sports, and spending time with her family and friends.

Along with the Center For Communication, he owns and operates Woodland Improvements; a forestry consulting company for local landowners. Interests include adventure sports like whitewater kayaking and skiing; and teaching them to kids.
