Southern Maine Parent Awareness (SMPA)
SMPA offers information, referrals, support, and education to families in Maine who have children/youth with special needs.
Maine Parent Federation
A statewide family support organization that offers free parent and family workshops as well as projects, newsletters, and summer camp lists.
The Autism Society of Maine
A non-profit organization that serves individuals with autism as well as their families, professionals, and communities. The Autism Society provides information about workshops, legislation, and education.
Asperger's Association of New England (AANE)
AANE offers a supportive and understanding community for those with Asperger Syndrome, their families, and professionals throughout New England.
Learning Disabilities Association of Maine (LDA-ME)
LDA-ME is an affiliate of the Learning Disabilities Association of America. LDA-ME is a non-profit organization that provides support, education, and advocacy to individuals statewide who have learning diabilities and co-existing disorders.

CDS is a branch of the Maine Department of Education that provides Early Education Intervention and Special Education for children birth to 5 years.
New Hampshire Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (NH/IDA)
NH/IDA is a non-profit organization whose goal is to pursue and provide the most comprehensive range of information and services that address the full scope of dyslexia and difficulties related to learning to read and write.
