"We would like to highlight the positive experience we have had with the Center for Communication and let others know what a difference it has made in both our lives and that of our sons.
Our oldest son was evaluated at the Center for Communication when he was nine years old. He had been diagnosed with visual/motor Dyspraxia and was referred to the Center by his neurologist. My second son had been diagnosed with Dyslexia, Bipolar and Tourette Syndrome. Without the excellent in-depth, invaluable testing, observations and specific recommendations offered by the Center for Communication, we would have never received the much needed intervention, accommodations and instruction needed to help both our children succeed, be productive, confident and happy.
We feel very fortunate to have had the boys evaluated in such an in-depth manner and to have acquired so much valuable information to then use in order to benefit their instruction and school setting. We would like to thank Fran Bodkin, Amy Reid and Erica Short for all their effort, expertise and caring. We hope they realize what incredible impacts they have on helping children reach their true potential."
